Beauty workshop tonight

DILLON – April Weber and Valerie Utaski of First Impressions Hair Salon in Frisco are sharing their secrets.

Weber, an aesthecian, will review the facets of skin care, including self-tanning, chemical peels, how what you eat affects your skin and the different ingredients in skin products.

Utaski, a hair stylist, will go over the difference between coloring, perming, highlighting and bleaching and how each process affects your hair.

She’ll also give tips on how climate affects different types of hair and how to combat common problems.

The beauty workshop is hosted by the Summit County Women’s Center and Borders Books in Dillon. The workshop is 7 to 8 p.m. today in the Borders Books Cafe. It is free and open to the public. Reservations are not required.
