Belief in God and Darwin is a cop-out

Jeff Spaulding, Frisco

Re: Fossil proof of evolution is in us all (Daily Mail, June 29)You are right that within a species changes might occur. For instance, not all dogs are the exact same, within the Kanine species many different variations have ocurred. If we look at your example, when we start out with a TB strand and attempt to kill it, than it turns into another TB strand. We started with a bacteria and ended with a bacteria, at no point did we travel outside of a species, God programmed DNA from the beginning with these slight vaariations, for what reason? I couldn’t tell you, but I will make sure to ask him. As for you comment on why can’t we coexist? To coexist means to take away from God and his power. So to say that you belive in God and in Darwin is to say that God really isn’t God at all. It is a real easy way to say “I don’t know what to believe, so might as well cover all of my bases.” I pose the question once more: Prove to me through the fossil record that evolution is a plausible explantion to how we all got here!”
