Benefit for Lindstrom candidacy

The Democrats in the Colorado House of Representatives are holding a fundraiser at 5 p.m. Saturday in the Great Divide Lodge in Breckenridge for announced candidate Gary Lindstrom of Summit County.

Lindstrom, a county commissioner, is running for the Democratic nomination for the House District 56 seat. State Rep. Carl Miller, D-Leadville, currently holds the seat but is term-limited.

District 56 includes Summit, Lake and Eagle counties.

U.S. Rep. Mark Udall, D- Boulder, who represents Summit County and the 2nd Congressional District will be attending.

The suggested donation is $50. Refreshments and a cash bar will be available. Campaign laws limit individual contributions to a maximum of $200.
