Best Buys: Best buys in the Highlands
Special to the Daily
The Highlands is an exclusive area in Breckenridge that borders the Breckenridge Golf Course and surrounding area. The area is very beautiful with rolling hills, awesome views of Breckenridge Ski Resort, golf course views and mountain views. There are over 250 homes within the 13 subdivisions of the Highlands. The homes vary in size from 2,733 square feet up to 7,949 square feet. These are all custom homes that sit on at least a half an acre or more.
In the past, it was unheard of to buy a home in the Highlands for under $1 million. The price per square foot was also much higher than it is today. There are currently 30 homes for sale in the Highlands and the average price is $368 per square foot.
