Betty Kristle dies at 95

Betty Sutton Saportas Kristle passed away Oct. 23. She was born in NYC on July 22, 1914, the second child of immigrant parents, Salim and Leah Zalta Sutton. She had four brothers (Irving, Ralph, Joe and Sam) and one sister (Jane). She married Martin Saportas in 1939 and had three children, Lillian Hurowitz (deceased), Margie Katz and Joseph Saportas. She died at Shalom Park Nursing Home in Denver. She was 95.

She was a Florida resident for 60 years. She is survived by her son, Joseph Saportas of St. Petersburg, and her daughter, Margie Katz, living in Breckenridge and Denver.
