Big names in Aspen for Ideas Festival

ASPEN – The brightest minds in politics, technology, academia and economics are among those in Aspen this week for the annual Ideas Festival.

Both political parties have representatives scheduled to speak at this year’s event, which began Monday and run through Sunday. GOP Chairman Michael Steele is on the list, and so are members of the Obama administration, including Attorney Gweneral Eric Holder and Homeland Security Secretary Janet Napolitano.

The Festival also has Bill Gates, Alan Greenspan and Arianna Huffington. The Aspen Daily News reports that former President Bill Clinton is in Aspen for the festival, though he won’t be speaking.
