Bike racks on sides of buses would solve two problems

Vickie House - Breckenridge

I was reading the Aug. 13 story on the bike situation on Summit Stage buses and I was thinking – how about putting the bike racks on the sides of the bus.

Wouldn’t that take care of the situation of bikes on bike racks blocking headlights at night?

If they could do that, how about more than two bike racks per bus so more cyclists could ride and not worry if there is enough room for their bike if something happens.

I sometimes ride my bike to Frisco or Silverthorne and I often worry if I stop at Frisco that there is enough room for my bike. The two front racks only hold four bikes.
