Biz Q and A

QTell us about yourself: Where you’re from, why you decided to open this type of business?

AI moved here from Chicago, November of “96. I have worked in

several offices in Breckenridge since that time and decided recently to start my own business. It has given me the flexibility I thought I would never have.

QWhen will (did) you open?

AI officially started September 1 this year. So I am in the baby stages.

QWhat is your background, and where did you get your experience?

AAs I mentioned, I have been employed with several great offices here in Breckenridge and gained a lot of relevant experience. I do

specialize in real estate as this is my most recent and comprehensive experience, though I have 10 years of office environment know-how. This makes me fairly useful in any office.

Q Describe your business and the product(s) you offer.

AI offer my administrative services to those that require it on an as-needed basis. As an example: Perhaps someone’s staff person is out – I can cover for that day or days. If there are short-term projects that need attending to – I can do that. As for the Realtors, I have experience using real estate programs and Web sites. I have prepared bulk mailings and stood in at open houses. I am willing to entertain different assignments as well. I like to remain pretty flexible.

QWhat makes your business unique from other similar businesses?

AI like to think that my ability and discipline allow me to serve my clients with the utmost in professionalism and care. One certainly could call a temporary service, but with me, you get the guarantee you’ll be working with someone that takes your business seriously, because I am in business as well, and I understand your need for quality, efficiency and productivity.

QDescribe your anticipated typical

customer.

AMy anticipated client would be any manager or owner who requires the type of service I offer. I have worked with real estate brokers mostly thus far, but I would like the chance to develop associations with other types of businesses as well.

QWhy did you choose to open where you

did?

AOther than being in Summit County, it really does not matter where I set up base camp, because I go where my clients are.

QAny future plans for the

business?

AI’d really like to see it gain momentum. Once I work with someone, I would like to think that word-of-mouth will keep me pretty busy. That is my goal for now.
