Biz QandA

QWhat type of business do you operate – what do you sell, or what service do you provide?

AI operate within a chiropractic and medical acupuncture office called Auth Chiropractic in Dillon. Dr. Jeffrey Auth still owns and operates the clinic.

QWhere are you from, and why did you decide to open your business in Summit County?

A Wisconsin. I have lived in both New York and California. I have decided there is no place like home, and that is in a great community in the mountains of Colorado!

QWhat experience do you have in this field?

AI have been in the health field for 10 years, five as a doctor of chiropractic. Prior to that, in the physical therapy field.

QWhat sets your business apart from other similar

businesses?

ABasically, all chiropractors have the same intent, and that is to adjust the spine to allow for optimal health for the spine and nervous system. We all have different styles; I can’t say my style sets me apart from any of my colleagues, except that I’m female with a gentle approach. I like to combine my treatments with acupuncture and bodywork; I find this very helpful.

Q What types of patients do you hope to reach in Summit County?

AI would like to reach not only those patients who need care, but also those who have never experienced the benefits of a chiropractic adjustment. Pain is always the last symptom to show up.

QWhy did you choose to open where you did?

A I love my new office in the Dillon Tech Center. I have a great view of the Ten Mile Range. The office provides a terrific healing atmosphere.

QWhat are your plans for your company’s

future?

AMy new plans are in process. I will be implementing a program in a few months to work with those with attention deficit disorder and other learning disabilities. It’s exciting to branch out with chiropractic beyond musculo-skeletal injuries.
