Q: What type of business do you operate – what do you sell, or what service do you provide? A. Errand and concierge services and everything in between. I can be a personal assistant or “Girl Friday” to take care of the daily tasks we all need to take care of, but seldom have the time for. Services include but are not limited to: Concierge/errand services, i.e., grocery/personal/gift shopping, mail/shipping services, banking, floral and gift basket pick ups/deliveries, reservations and appointments, rental returns, holiday help and assist with parties, lunch and dinner delivery, flyer distribution, office help for crunch times (including service of process for attorneys), business referral services and maintenance (I have contacts with some of the best handymen), house-sitting, light housekeeping, child/senior assistance check up and care (dropping off forgotten backpacks and sports equipment to forgetful kids) … If it’s legal, I’ll try to take care of it!Q: Where are you from, and why did you decide to open your business in Summit County?A. I grew up in Minnesota, but have lived in Colorado for 16 years; five years in Summit County. I decided to open this type of business here because I found that there weren’t many services in the county geared toward offering a little bit of everything for anybody.

Q: What experience do you have in this field? A. I’ve worked in property management, served as a personal assistant, had another home-based business and am raising three children, a job that has certainly taught me to be very multi-tasked! Personal life experiences have taught me the value of trustworthiness, honesty, hard work, responsibility, dependability and being conscientious in all that I do.Q: What sets your business apart from other similar businesses? A. I’m offering people a precious commodity: The gift of time. I do the things they have to do, so they can do the things they want to do. I’m open to doing a wide variety of services to help make people’s lives more manageable. As a single mom of three, I understand the stress and guilt and being overwhelmed by “too much to do, to little time.” I’m fully insured and I can provide referrals and testimonials from very happy, satisfied customers. I would like to complement local businesses to provide additional services to their customers that they do not provide. I hope to establish and build a win-win referral business so that everyone is happy.

Q: What types of customers do you hope to reach in Summit County? A. I hope to appeal to all types of customers in the county, anyone who feels there aren’t enough hours in the day to accomplish everything. That’s most of us, right? For local residents, businesses and second home-owners, I’d like to offer weekly or monthly blocks of time as a personal assistant/home manager (from my own experience, I’m the best personal assistant that I’ve ever had). Many of us need help occasionally, but don’t always want to hire people. The value in my service is that I’m available on an on-call, as needed basis. For tourists, I’d like to make their vacation as relaxing and pampering as I can, and take care of everything before and during their stay so all they have to do is relax and enjoy.Q: Why did you choose to open where you did?

A. I have a service that both locals and tourists can benefit from, so I’m hoping to tap into our large tourism industry. Also, I have found many local businesses who have been very supportive and encouraging of my service and have found value in combining our successes for the benefit of everyone. I own a home in Frisco and am committed to developing a long-term business here. I don’t want to be just another “come and gone” business after a couple of seasons.Q: What are your plans for your company’s future? A. I plan to deliver a prompt and courteous satisfaction guaranteed service that people will want to come back for time after time. Realizing that my business can only grow and develop if everyone is happy with their results, I will offer free service to anyone who’s not completely satisfied with their results. I will also provide a 10 percent discount for first-time customers who mention that they saw my article in the Summit Daily News.
