Q What type of business do you operate ” what do you sell, or what service do you provide?

AWe provide clinical hypnotherapy, lymphatic detoxification, live blood analysis, acupuncture, herbs and sauna therapies. We also offer heavy metal, hair and parasitology tests, anti-oxidant/free-radical tests, and blood type tests for those without medical insurance or those on a budget.

QWhere are you from, and why did you decide to open your business in Summit County?

ALaura has lived in Summit County for 24 years and is a native of Colorado. Lacey has lived in Summit County for 10 years and was born in New Hampshire. We’re both outdoors people.

QWhat experience do you have in this field?

AWe have a combined 27 years of clinical experience.

QWhat sets your business apart from other similar businesses?

AWe have a dark field microscope that magnifies the blood 1,000 times and reveals potential health problems before they arise, from the psychological to the physical stage. We also own a detox chamber that we refer to as a sweat lodge because it burns at least 400 calories an hour and the temperature can go up to 180 degrees. We are also patient-centered and readily refer to psychotherapists and other practitioners including MDs and dentists as the case may require.

QWhat types of customers do you hope to reach in Summit County?

AAll kinds ” athletes, the elderly, anyone with health concerns or prevention-minded people.

QWhy did you choose to open where you did?

AThe central location and because Winds of Change Healing Center is the “heart” of Summit County.

QWhat are your plans for your company’s future?

AWe are ready to market our own products, such as stabilized oxygen, herbal liniments and sherpa tea for peak performance.
