Q: What type of business do you operate – what do you sell, or what service do you provide?A: We are a mobile day spa offering makeup, nail and hair services, massages, body treatments, facials and waxing in clients’ homes, rentals or hotel suites. We bring all day spa necessities, such as candles, relaxing music and robes to transform any space into a tranquil getaway.Q: Where are you from, and why did you decide to open your business in Summit County?A: We both went to massage school in Cambridge, Mass. Kim has had a successful private practice in Cape Cod, Mass., for 13 years, but while on vacation here last winter, she decided to move to Summit County for the ski season.

Stacie is originally from San Diego and lived in Boston and New Orleans before deciding to settle down in Summit County after attending a family reunion in Breckenridge last summer. We both love the people, the pace of life and the change of seasons here, so we started a business that allows us to experience all of these things on a daily basis.Q: What experience do you have in this field?A: Kim has 13 years’ experience as a massage therapist; five of those years were spent doing out-call massages exclusively. She specializes in deep tissue, relaxation and sports massage, as well as myofascial release therapy. Stacie has been a massage therapist for three years, all of which have been spent in busy day spas. She specializes in custom spa treatments, including hot stone therapy, aromatherapy and all-natural herbal body treatments, as well as deep tissue and relaxation massage.

Q: What sets your business apart from other similar business?A: At this time, we are the only full-service mobile day spa in Summit County. There are people who offer massages, facials, makeup or hair on an out-call basis, but no one else offers everything in one package like we do. We realize that most people prefer not to drive to a spa to relax, only to have to then get back in the car and get stressed out again. We also specialize in spa parties, including bridal parties. Not having to drive allows people to spend more time together and enjoy the party.Q: What types of customer do you hope to reach in Summit County?

A: We’d love to work with locals and visitors alike – anyone who is seeking a truly relaxing and memorable experience to share with their friends and family.Q: Why did you choose to open where you did?A: We decided to open a mobile spa instead of a traditional day spa because we saw a niche that had not been filled. There are day spas all over the county, but we are the only one that will bring everything to your door.Q: What are your plans for your company’s future?A: We hope to attract other spa professionals to join us so that we may be able to service all who wish to experience “Right At Home” in Summit County and surrounding areas. We are looking forward to the rest of the ski season and anticipate an eventful wedding season.
