Blue River Watershed Group fundraiser a hit

The Blue River Watershed Group held its first major fundraiser on Aug. 29 at the Backcountry Brewery in Frisco. The event was a great success and would not have been feasible without the support of Woody Van Gundy at the Backcountry Brewery. Jim Shaw made it possible to have a wonderful evening of entertainment provided by Summer Breeze, Ms. Nancy Cook and Mr. Randall Mckinnon.

A big thank you needs to go to all of the volunteers and supporters, which included the Friends of the Dillon Ranger District, and all of the people who attended the fundraiser. Special thanks go out to the following contributors to our silent auction: Ten Mile Kayaks, Performance Tours, Cutthroat Anglers, Vail Resorts Echo, Arapahoe Basin Ski Area, Copper Mountain Ski Area, Bonnie Q B.B.Q., Dillon Ridge Liquors, Randall McKinnon, Silverthorne Recreation Center, Curves, Free Spirit Yoga, Pearl Izumi, Old Chicago, Dillon Dam Brewery, Red Mountain Grill, Coldwater Creek, Anne Marie Ohly, and the Moose Jaw.
