Board of Education holding public hearing tonight

The Summit School District Board of Education is holding a public hearing tonight on the proposed 2012-13 budget to answer any questions citizens might have. The board plans on adopting the budget at its June 26 meeting.

At tonight’s meeting, the board will also hear a recommendation from the Boundary Advisory Committee – which has been working to determine if a boundary change to Frisco Elementary should be considered – and will hear the third revision of the foreign travel policy, which will be up for its first vote.

The regular meeting starts at 6 p.m., and the public hearing starts at 6:40. Both take place in the district’s central administration building.
