BOCC approves new logo signs for Frisco

FRISCO – The town of Frisco received approval from the Summit Board of County Commissioners Monday to install five new signs, which could feature local businesses and tourist attractions, at the westbound and eastbound exits at mile markers 201 and 203.The town requested to install the signs so that travelers on Interstate 70 could make their way off the highway and into local attractions. The signs will advertise the Frisco Marina Park, Frisco Nordic Center and the Frisco Historic Park/Museum. In December 1987, the state’s regulations governing interstate signage were amended to require county approval for any new sign structures or ramp signs.
