Bonfils hosts blood drive

DAILY NEWS STAFF REPORT

Come to Classroom 1 and 2 at the St. Anthony Summit Medical Center between 1-2:10 p.m. and again from 3:30-6 p.m. today to donate blood. Blood is the fuel of life and during the months of June, July and August, blood donations can drop as much as 20 percent. Yet, there is often an increased need for blood products due to accidents, scheduled surgeries and medical treatments. Anyone in general good health, at least 17 years old and at least 110 pounds may donate blood every 56 days, up to six times per year. Appointments are preferred, but walk-ins are welcome. Call the Bonfils appointment center at (800) 365-0006 ext. 2 to schedule an appointment or for more information.
