Book celebrates Fiester Preserve

The Continental Divide Land Trust invites the public to celebrate the release of a new history book, “History of the Land: The Fiester Preserve,” from 4:40 p.m. to 6:30 p.m. Dec. 2 at the Backcountry Brewery in Frisco.There will be free snacks and a cash bar. Books will be available for purchase.The Fiester Preserve is protected by a conservation easement held by the land trust and is located between Bill’s Ranch and the County Commons near Frisco.The book explains the history of the preserve, the Dexheimer and Fiester Families and Bill’s Ranch.
