Boot Gordon: Drugs and higher consciousness

Stuart "Boot" Gordon

I’ve noticed with the huge publicity of medicinal marijuana that no one has mentioned the detrimental effects on consciousness.

Most adults use alcohol or drugs to enhance their feelings of self-worth, to make themselves feel better about their lives.

Alcohol can usually be sloughed off by the body in a few days, i.e. a close friend who was a brilliant lawyer and an alcoholic would be wrung out from a drunk, put into the courtroom scene and win his client’s case time after time.

But drugs apparently have a weakening effect on the brain (we have all heard about the absent minded “space cadets”) and a noticeable negative effect on those seeking higher consciousness. In short, if you want to be enlightened or Christ-like, which I believe is why we’re here, don’t take drugs.

“And what is higher consciousness?” you ask. Visit Drunvalo Melchizedek’s website then sign up for his broadcast “The Birth of Humanity and the Grids of Consciousness” on May 26 for $9.90. Use my referral #26445 (I don’t get a commission).
