Boot Gordon: We can’t afford enlightenment

OK, let’s say we:

A. Figure a way to efficiently get energy from the sun, waves, etc.

B. Live on a healthy diet of fresh veggies, fruits, grains, sprouts, and wheat grass.

C. Reduce our armed forces to home defense.

D. Eliminate the greed, and domination of the ego.

E. Exercise and get healthy.

F. Balance our national budget

G. Finally reduce the size of our government.

If we do, this’ll put a lot of:

A. Petroleum workers out of work. (Russian scientists have discovered a way to run motors on gravity, which is free.)

B. Junk and packaged food, ag and McDonald’s workers out of work.

C. Soldiers, sailors, Marines and airmen out of work. (We’ve been on a war economy since 1939.)

D. Auto, clothing, home builders and shopping mall workers out of work.

E. Pharmaceuticals and medical workers out of work.

F. Federal Reserve bankers and Wall Street workers out of work. (And we in the ski industry?)

G. Lots of government workers out of work.

So the question is: How is our US economy going to survive if we listen to all those liberals and become enlightened?

Moral of the story: Join the Republican Party and keep all this from happening.
