Boy Scouts continue tree sales

DAILY NEWS STAFF REPORT

The Boy Scouts of Troop 187 are working hard this year selling Christmas trees for their annual fundraiser. Trees are filling the lot at the corner of Wellington and Main streets in Breckenridge where they are available to the public in return for donations to the troop. Prices of trees range from $35 to $150. Christmas tree stands are also available while supplies last.Tree varieties available this year are Balsam, Caanan, Fraser and Douglas firs and Long Needle Scotch Pine. Trees range from 5 to 12 feet.The lot will be operating through today, 4 to 7 p.m. New this year is the tepee the troops erected as a warming shelter in the tree lot. All are welcome to stop by and warm up while in downtown Breckenridge.
