Bravo to Backstage’s ‘Metamorphosis’ and the work done by actors, staff

I had an opportunity to attend the performance of “Metamorphosis” at the Breckenridge Theatre July 24 with two local friends from Breckenridge. I live in Philadelphia and often enjoy off-Broadway and Broadway. Last year, in fact, I saw the Broadway version of “Metamorphosis” at Circle on the Square. I wanted to tell you that except for the obvious (an Olympic-size swimming pool and theater in the round) I found the performance to be every bit as professional and entertaining as the one on Broadway. The director, technical help and cast did great homage to this show with the mix of humor and serious dialogue. I thought that every performer did a marvelous job and deserves much commendation. Special accolades should go to Brandon Hoskins who sang so beautifully as the Sun God. Much success to the Backstage Theatre and my appreciation for all the hard work that clearly went into the performance.
