Habitat for Humanity event needs auction items

SUMMIT COUNTY – Summit County Habitat for Humanity and the Women’s Council of Realtors are in search of silent auction items for the groups’ second annual Fashion Show Fundraiser.

The fashion show event is scheduled for June 20 at the Silverthorne Pavilion.

Businesses can make tax deductible donations to the event for a silent auction. Fashion-related items such as clothing and jewelry are encouraged, as well as construction and contracting services.

“Last year, one of the most popular and highest bid on items was a truckload of gravel,” said Kouri Wolf of Metro Brokers and Frisco, an organizer of the event.

Proceeds from the event help Habitat for Humanity build affordable homes in Summit County.

For more information, or to donate an auction item, contact Wolf at (970) 668-8550 or drop off the item at the Metro Brokers office at 700 W. Main St. in Frisco.
