Breakfast fundraiser at the Elks Lodge to benefit veterans on Sunday

The Summit County Elks Lodge #2561 in Silverthorne is hosting a fundraiser breakfast for FOB Summit County CO. The mission of FOB SCCO is to bring wounded, active and retired military personnel, and their families to the mountains for outdoor adventures. To accomplish this mission, the local nonprofit needs your support!

Join us for breakfast at the Elks Lodge, 1321 Blue River Parkway (Hwy. 9), Silverthorne on Sunday, from 9 a.m. to noon. Meet the founder of FOB SCCO and its board members, and some active duty personnel from 244th Engineers and 919th Hospital Med Vac of the Colorado National Guard. Also, this is an opportunity for you to say thank you to the wives of some deployed soldiers from Fort Carson’s 3rd Brigade 4th Infantry.

Tickets are $10 per person in advance (call (970) 468-2561 after 4 p.m.) or $12 at the door; children 12 and under, $5.
