Breck council meeting cancelled

by Jane Stebbins

BRECKENRIDGE – This afternoon’s worksession and tonight’s regular meeting of the Breckenridge Town Council has been postponed because four of the seven members are unable to attend. Three of the four are on vacation; council member Michael Bertaux is recuperating from surgery.

The town charter requires at least four members to be present to hold a meeting.

It is the second time the town council has ever cancelled a meeting; the first time was Sept. 11.
