Breck Health Fair thanks

We would like to take this opportunity to thank all the individuals and businesses who assisted in the Health and Safety Fair at Breckenridge Medical Center. It was a hugely successful event with more than 125 children attending. We were able to safely fit more than 80 bike helmets, have 30 children fingerprinted and inspect and properly install 29 car seats. This wonderful community event was made possible by Emergency Medical Service personnel and local nonprofits.

We wanted to thank everyone who helped make this a fun and educational event for the youth of our community. Thanks to: Village of Breckenridge, Safety-Saur-Us, Vail Valley Emergency Physicians, Department of Wildlife, State Farm Insurance, Think First, Vail Valley Medical Center, St. Anthony’s Hospitals, Summit Medical Center, Central Mountains Safe Kids Chapter, Red, White and Blue Fire Department, Summit County Ambulance, Breckenridge Police, Dr. Tim Nary DDS, Summit County Dispatch, Breckenridge Ski Resort, Dr. Jason Folk, Howard Head Sports Medicine, Carvers, Vail Valley Dieticians, Swedish Medical Center and the Colorado Department of Transportation.

Thanks also to all the volunteers and families who took the time to help teach our youth about safety.

Karie Mc Donald, RN, Clinic Coordinator and Kelley Lau, RN, Trauma Coordinator, Breckenridge Medical Center
