Breck Kidz Calliope features Birds of Prey program Tuesday

BRECKENRIDGE The Raptor Education Foundation returns to the Riverwalk Center in Breck for the fifth Kidz Calliope series on Tuesday at 2 p.m. This family show features various types of raptors, including owls, hawks and falcons in the program, Raptors & the Environment: Where Do We Fit? The Raptor Education Foundation provides a rescue service, 24-hour care and rehabilitation facilities for injured raptors. They provide a permanent, caring environment for raptors unable to return to the wild, and are committed to increasing rare species and sharing knowledge and information on the medical treatment and rehabilitation of raptors. The Raptor Foundation is a permanent home to more than 200 birds, comprising species of raptors.General admission to Kidz Calliope shows are $5 per person and may be purchased at the Riverwalk Center Box Office, 150 W. Adams, Breckenridge, or by calling (970) 547-3100 for advance reservations.
