Breck museum displays ski history

The Summit Historical Society will soon have a new exhibit at its Main Street Museum in Breckenridge entitled “Skis, Snow and the Kingdom of Breckenridge.” The exhibit, which will be on display at the museum’s Thursday grand opening, depicts the history of skiing in all of its aspects in Breckenridge and Summit County. The public is invited to the Thursday grand opening event from 10 a.m. to 3 p.m. A private opening function and dedication will occur from 4-6 p.m. on the same day. Call (970) 453-9022 for further information.The Main Street Museum is located at 115 South Main St. in Breckenridge through the generous donation of space by Valdoro Mountain Lodge.
