Breck offers overnight parking pass

Special to the Daily News

BRECKENRIDGE – The town of Breckenridge has created the new Patron Parking Pass Program for the benefit of bar and restaurant customers who need to leave their vehicles on town streets overnight.

This program has establishments issue parking passes that allow people to park in town lots or on town streets between 2 and 6 a.m. and not receive parking tickets.

The program is free to restaurants and bars as well as their customers.

Bar and restaurant managers should contact Kristy Morrison in the town’s finance department at the Breckenridge Town Hall for passes.

Currently, six establishments take part in the program: Cecilia’s, Mrs. E and Me, Salt Creek Saloon, Briar Rose, Blue River Bistro and Fatty’s.

Police emphasize the program is for patrons and not employees.
