BRECKENRIDGE – Breckenridge Police officers arrested Bruce Allen Cook Friday morning on allegations he used someone else’s credit card to wrack up more than $3,500 in charges at numerous gas stations and retail businesses.

Operating on a tip, officers arrested Cook at a French Creek home where he was doing handyman work. He was booked on 136 charges relating to forgery, unlawful use of a credit card, criminal impersonation and criminal possession of a financial transaction device.

Many of the gas stations and retail establishments at which Cook allegedly used the credit card were in Frisco, Breckenridge and Silverthorne, but others were in metro Denver and Grand Junction.
