Breck road construction continues

Work on the new bridge and roundabout at the North Park Avenue and Main Street roundabout continues in Breckenridge. The east (northbound) lanes of Highway 9 will be closed until the first week of October from Valleybrook to North Park Avenue. Traffic is shifted into two lanes on the west side of the roadway.Roadway paving will occur Monday and Tuesday on Highway 9 from Valleybrook to North Park Avenue. From 7 a.m. to 7 p.m., access to County Road 450 (Huron) and access to the Summit Ridge Center and the Breckenridge Inn will be closed during the day, but will be open during the evenings. County Road 450 can be accessed by using Wellington Road. Access to the Summit Ridge Center and Breckenridge Inn will be moved to the intersection of Highlands and Highway 9. Expect detours, delays and flagger presence. Using Airport Road as an alternate route could save time in the delays.
