Breck Snowflake Challenge winners and thanks

The 3rd Annual Breck Snowflake Challenge Amateur Snow Sculpture Competition wrapped up last Saturday with cash prizes going to first place: Team WoodzWays at Magical Scraps; second place: Team Snowfox at The Fall Line; third place: Team Snow Caps at The Photo Shop; and 4th place: Team Towne Square Mall by the Artists of God Speed Tattoo.

Eighteen teams participated this year, producing amazing pieces of snow art that line Main Street in Breckenridge. Competition judge Gary Freese decided the work was so exquisite that his business, Breckenridge Galleries, donated five $100 honorable mention awards to Team A-Train at Kenosha Steakhouse, Team Ready Paint Fire, Team Bondo at Cool River Coffeehouse, Team Breck Photo, and Team Ullriffic at Blue River Plaza! Thank you to all the artists for putting their energy and enthusiasm into each piece. Most importantly, a huge thank-you to our generous sponsors: The Breckenridge Resort Chamber, The Summit Daily News, KSMT/KCMV Radio, and Coors Tap the Rockies without you we wouldn’t have been able to pull off such a successful event! Your commitment to the Breckenridge community does not go unnoticed.
