Breck150 Art Show to benefit National Repertory Orchestra and Breckenridge Heritage Alliance.

Breckenridge, Colorado

Three organizations, the Saddle Rock Society, Breckenridge Heritage Alliance (BHA) and the National Repertory Orchestra (NRO) have created a unique community partnership featuring five local artists who will present the beauty and heritage of the Breckenridge area through art.

The Barney Ford House Museum will be the artists’ gallery to display and sell their Breck150 signature creations from April 11 through September 30 with 20 percent of sale proceeds to benefit the BHA and NRO.

The contributing artists are well-known locally for their photography, watercolor and oil paintings: Ann Weaver, Leona Sophocles Brownson, Connie Johnson, Alden Spillman and Marty Rohde.

Breck150 Art Show Events include:

” Saturday: Art Show Opening at the Barney Ford House Museum,

7-9 p.m.. RSVP (970) 453-5825, Julie Chandler

” June 19: NRO 50th Anniversary Opening Night Reception from 5:30-7p.m. at the Barney Ford House Museum.

” July 3: Breck150/NRO 50th Anniversary Bash at Beaver Run Resort. Artist’s special pieces featured at silent auction.

” Ongoing: Join contributing artists for “en plein air” (in open air) painting sessions on the Barney Ford House Museum lawn.
