An adaptive Nordic course will also be offered for those with special needs. Nordic ski loops of 6ks will be marked, and a snowshoe loop of 3k. For families with youngsters there will be a 1k snowshoe loop including a treasure hunt at 11 a.m. Rentals are available at the Nordic center at a reduced rate. All donations are tax deductible. A minimum donation of $20 is required to participate and the BOEC encourages all participants to collect additional pledges in support of our cause. For questions, call (970) 453-6855 or e-mail: Registration forms can be downloaded at or picked one up at any of the Nordic centers. The Breckenbeiner 60k is also an end-of-the-season celebration. There will be great food, beverages, live music by Helmut Fricker of Vail and Those Austrian Guys, costume contests and team/individual prizes. The top fundraiser will receive a 2010-2011 season ski pass. The top team fundraiser will receive a group fondue party compliments of the Breckenridge Nordic Center. Groups that commit to a $1,000 donation can also receive complimentary ski instruction from Gene Dayton. Costumes are highly encouraged!
