The Breckenridge Outdoor Education Center (BOEC) would like to extend a huge thank you to Mi Casa Mexican Restaurant & Cantina for hosting the 28th Annual Cinco de Mayo to benefit the BOEC’s Willie Whalen Memorial Fund and raised $20,000 to support the BOEC! An extra special thanks to Dick Carleton, Tracey Roach and Julie Ludwig who have always supported this fundraiser, and that has to date raised over $265,000 for the BOEC. Thanks to the servers, volunteers and cooks from Mi Casa who made the night a great dining out experience. The BOEC raised extra funds from holding a unique silent auction of over 100 items. Thanks to all the generous silent auction donors and donors to our raffle drawings. The event ran smoothly due to all our BOEC volunteers who are always willing to pitch in when there is a need. Lastly, thanks to all our supporters who came out hungry to support a great cause and to those who bid on the silent auction items. We appreciate the community support and hope you will save the date next year to celebrate Cinco de Mayo again.
