Breckenridge Equestrian Center thanks community for Fall Festival

The Breckenridge Equestrian Center and Summit County 4-H hosted a successful Fall Festival on Oct. 16 that over 100 kids enjoyed. The event raised approximately $800, which goes to the Freedom Riders 4-H Club to help sponsor horse shows next summer as well as education for the members. I’d like to provide a special thanks to the following companies and people that made this event a success – Brad from Breckenridge Stables for the carriage rides, Heather from Mystic Mountain Morgans for the horses, City Market for helping with art supplies and baked goods, Pizza Parlor for sponsoring the lunch and of course all the volunteers and participants that made the day possible. If you are interested in learning more about all the opportunities the Summit County 4-H offers, call (970) 668-4142 or visit
