Breckenridge Festival of Film calls for volunteers


BRECKENRIDGE ” The Breckenridge Festival of Film returns to town June 5-8, and the event is in need of volunteers.

Available volunteer positions include: ticket taking at all venues; office phones; assistance at the hospitality suite, the information center or the Riverwalk Center; pass sales at City Market; and poster distribution prior to the festival. The annual volunteer party is scheduled for Thursday, May 29 at Fatty’s Pizzeria, from 5:30-8:30 p.m., where additional information and refreshments will be provided.

The Breckenridge Festival of Film is a nonprofit organization governed by a volunteer board of directors. Funding for the festival comes from local public and private grants, sponsorships, fundraising events, individual contributions, in-kind assistance, and revenue from tickets and merchandise. More than 150 individual volunteers, four local theaters and other venues are involved in this annual event.
