Breckenridge Grand Vacations gives away more than $300K in spring grants
BRECKENRIDGE — Nonprofit organizations in Summit and Park counties have been awarded $318,352 by Breckenridge Grand Vacations as part of its spring grant cycle. The grants will fund projects for 38 local organizations in education, health and human services:
- $99,329 was granted to 16 organizations in the education field
- $97,500 was given to 12 organizations in the human services sector
- $60,773 was granted to one local health organization from the Rob Millisor Heart Health Fund
- $60,750 went to nine other beneficiaries
Breckenridge Grand Vacations’ grants program is managed by BGV Gives, a program created to support nonprofit organizations in Summit and Park counties through fundraising, sponsorships, grants, volunteering and in-kind donations. The program funds capital projects, special event sponsorships, programs, equipment, scholarships, educational materials and general operating support, among other needs.
