Breckenridge job fair to be held Mar. 19

BRECKENRIDGE – The town of Breckenridge summer job fair will be from 9:30 a.m. to 5:30 p.m. Wednesday, March 19, at the town hall, 150 Ski Hill Road. Prospective applicants are encouraged to join the job fair and check out the town’s summer jobs.

The town will be taking applications and conducting interviews for all summer positions. There will be free parking in the back of the town hall.

Most of the town’s summer employees will work outdoors. The town is accepting applications for public works, streets and parks maintenance and for bus drivers. Golf course maintenance and golf course operations will be looking for qualified applicants as well.

The recreation center will be accepting applications for day-camp counselors, sports coaches, park officials and lifeguards. The Riverwalk Center is looking for box office attendants and a production assistant.

Most positions will phase in during the month of May, but start and stop dates may be dependent upon weather and organizational requirements for each position.
