DAILY NEWS STAFF REPORT

BRECKENRIDGE – Breckenridge resident Mark Piche, 28, was found dead in the woods near Gold Flake Drive Saturday by Summit County Rescue Group. According to coroner Joanne Richardson, Piche was last seen leaving Fatty’s Pizzeria in Breckenridge Thursday evening around 8:30. Friends reported he often walked home through the woods. Richardson said Piche’s body apparently had been in an area of deep snow since Thursday. The cause and manner of death have not yet been determined by the coroner’s office.
