On Sunday evenings throughout the summer, chamber music returns to the setting in which it first blossomed with the Breckenridge Music Festival Champagne Series.
Concerts in the series are hosted in private homes around Summit County. Here, the intimate nature of chamber music is complemented by the chance to meet and visit with talented performers and with other music enthusiasts.
In chamber music, just one player voices each musical line. This gives each performance a unique character reflecting the individual personalities of the musicians performing. Each Champagne event is one of a kind, with a special combination of music, artists, guests and setting as effervescent as the series’ name promises.
Evening events begin at 7 p.m. with a champagne reception and close with dessert following the concerts. Back by popular demand, four events will be Sunday Champagne Brunch concerts, featuring full brunch buffets, beginning at 11 a.m.
Champagne Series events are limited in size and tend to sell out quickly, so plan to make your reservations early. For more information, contact the Breckenridge Music Festival office at (970) 453-9142 or email admin@breckenridge musicfestival.com.
