Breckenridge Nature Series Wolves of the Southern Rockies


It is a late night, and out of nowhere you hear it. It’s a sound that makes your hair stand on end, a beautiful and chilling howl. Wolves are dangerous creatures, right? Or maybe it only seems that way. Join the Breckenridge Nature Series on Monday, at the Breckenridge Recreation Center for this visual presentation put on by Sinapu.Sinapu is a Boulder-based organization that is dedicated to raising public awareness of the critical role that predators, especially wolves, play in the wild. Come discover these mysterious creatures and how they compliment our ecosystem. This program and the slideshow, “Wolves & Stewardship in the New West,” will be presented from 7-8 p.m. on Monday, at the Breckenridge Recreation Center.There is a $5 suggested donation for this program, which supports the educational efforts of the Breckenridge Nature Series and Sinapu.
