Breckenridge opens Peak 7

BRECKENRIDGE – Breckenridge Ski Resort opened Peak 7 terrain this morning, adding more than 200 acres of terrain to what’s open on Peaks 8, 9 and 10.

Breckenridge now has 1,250 acres open, including nearly 100 percent of the resort’s beginner and intermediate terrain, and 20 percent of its advanced and expert terrain.

Holiday week activities include visits from Santa Claus at the base of Peak 8 from noon to 1 p.m. through Christmas Day, skating at The Maggie Ice Rink located in Breckenridge and Santa and his reindeer appearances in town daily.
