Breckenridge Peak 6 comment period extended

The U.S. Forest Service has extended the review and comment period on the Breckenridge Ski Resort Peak 6 Draft Environmental Impact Statement (DEIS). The comment period, originally set to close July 25, has been extended and now closes on Friday, Aug. 26.

“This is a complex proposal and we want to give the public sufficient time to adequately review the document and provide informed comments,” said Forest Supervisor Scott Fitzwilliams.

The DEIS for the proposed Breckenridge Ski Resort Peak 6 Project has been available for public review and comment since June 10. The DEIS is available at
