The Breckenridge Police Department has named Thomas Yacko, 32, as the suspect in a string of ski and snowboard thefts that started in February.

A search warrant served on March 18 at Yacko’s residence in the 100 block of Atlantic Lode allowed the Breckenridge Police Department to recover stolen property with a preliminary estimated value of $5,000-$10,000. The suspect was taken into custody shortly after and charged with felony theft.

The case is currently still under investigation. The police have been able to identify additional victims since the arrest. Anyone believing they may be a victim or anyone with additional information is asked to call the Breckenridge Police Department at 970-453-2941.
