Breckenridge police are searching for a man they think was involved in a double stabbing in the Tonopah parking lot on the east side of the La Cima Mall Jan. 28.

The suspect had a beard and may be associated with a small, dark-colored sedan.

Authorities also reported a green sweatshirt with an Alma logo on the upper left side was discovered at the scene.

Authorities responded to a report of a disturbance at the Tonopah lot the night of Jan. 28, but found the area deserted. Approximately an hour later a man with a stab wound arrived at the Summit Medical Center.

Breckenridge police now say two people were stabbed during the incident, which occurred at approximately 10:30 p.m.

Anyone wishing to report information related to the suspect or this case should contact the Breckenridge Police Department at (970) 453-2941.
