Breckenridge police seek white man in fountain case

BRECKENRIDGE – Police are seeking an unidentified white man recorded on surveillance video destroying a water fountain and flooding the Breckenridge Transit Center after it was closed in the early-morning hours of March 30, according to a Breckenridge Police Department press release.

“Surveillance video shows the male kicking the water fountain and breaking it away from the wall, prior to falling asleep on a bench within the Transit Center,” according to the press release.

Town employees found the damage at about 6:10 a.m. Tuesday. The man was seen in the building about three minutes before the police arrived, according to the press release.
