Breckenridge resident praises actions of town police officers

I have lived in Summit County for three years and I now live in Breckenridge. I want to thank two Breckenridge police officers.

First, I will be the first to admit that I have had a few run-ins with the police all over Summit County – whether the incidents were my fault or that of others.

Most of the time, the officers were very short and to the point, not necessarily mean, but not real nice, either.

On Valentines Day night, I had a run-in with my ex-boyfriend. The two officers who came to my house to help me were awesome. Even at 11 p.m. while working on an all-night shift, they were extremely helpful and informative and were just two of the nicest guys you could ever meet.

So, officers David Edstrom and Rich Watson of the Breckenridge Police Department, a hundred times over – thank you.
