BRECKENRIDGE – Breckenridge residents David Roach and Sally Stephenson have joined a 15-person volunteer construction team that traveled to Mississippi May 9. They’ll be there for a week rebuilding and repairing homes badly damaged by Hurricane Katrina in September 2005.
According to a press release, Roach and Stephenson’s work is focused on the eastern part of the state in Pascagoula, Ocean Springs, Moss Point and Gautier. The reconstruction effort was organized by International Relief Teams, a San Diego-based nonprofit relief agency.
