The recipient schools are Little Red School House, Carriage House Early Learning Center, Upper Blue Elementary and Breckenridge Elementary, with each school receiving a check for $3239.27.Since the program’s inception seven years ago, Grand Timber Lodge and the participating merchants have donated more than $65,000 to the community’s schools. The Merchant Program helps the schools with some needed financial assistance and, at the same time, puts about $400,000 annually into community businesses through the collaborative merchant certificates issued by Grand Timber Lodge. Rob Millisor, vice president of Grand Timber Lodge stated, “once again, we’d like to extend a big thanks to all of the participating merchants who, through their participation in this program, share our commitment to supporting the education of our community’s children.”
