Breckenridge Ski Resort takes unjust heat in lift debate

I am writing in response to a letter published Nov. 26. The letter was about how poorly Breckenridge Ski Resort’s lifts are doing this year.

I feel the lift operators and managers are doing the best they can, given the circumstances.

They have worked very hard to ensure the lifts are working and are safe. They deserve a lot more credit than the letter gave them.

The hours of the upper lifts are the only ones that changed. It is never that busy in the mornings, like the letter said, except for national holidays. The longest one would ever have to wait is around five minutes.

Any true local would know we are also smart enough to stay away from the slopes during the busy season and holidays.

I feel Breckenridge Ski Resort was unjustly accused. It deserves more credit for the tremendous job it is doing.
